Child safety standards
Rytmee is for adults only and has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).
Adults only
Everyone on Rytmee must be 18 or over. Members give their date of birth when they sign up, and anyone younger can’t create a profile. We remove any account that we find belongs to a minor.
What is not allowed
Any content or behaviour that sexualises, exploits or endangers children is forbidden: child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual or romantic contact with minors, and any attempt to contact or meet a minor. This applies to profiles, photos and messages.
What we do
- Every member can report a profile or a conversation from inside the app.
- We review reports of child safety concerns as a priority, and keep the reported conversation so we can act on it.
- We remove content and ban accounts involved in CSAE.
- We report child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the police where required, and we cooperate with law enforcement.
How to report a concern
In the app, tap Report on the profile or in the chat. You can also write to our child safety contact at support@rytmee.com. If a child is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number.
Our contact
Our designated child safety contact can be reached at support@rytmee.com, and can speak to our CSAM prevention practices and compliance.
